Dr. Charles Gilcher

  • "I have a daughter, Alexis, who was diagnosed with Cerepral Palsy, with seizures. She has activity with low muscle tones. You pray and look for any help you can get. Alexis has been taking therapy for about eight years and seeing various doctors. We have serial casting and intesive stretching, and seizure meds. We were thinking about surgery for tendon release when we met Dr. Gilcher. It came to me, maybe chiropracitc can help Alexis. It is now April 12th, Dr. Gilcher has been treating Alexis for two months and her doctors and therapists are amazed at Alexis's improvement, as well as myself. Sitting better, not as much seizure activity, happier and overall healthy. I Thank Dr. Gilcher and his staff for all they have done to help Alexis. I will tell everyone everywhere I go about Dr. Gilcher."

  • "Dr. Gilcher's office is one I actually don't mind coming to. To me the office is so family friendly. The atmosphere there is so happy. Dr. Gilcher and Stacy make everyone feel so welcome. If I'm there by myself I feel comfortable. If it's full it does not feel stressful. Everyone is talking and reading even the children are not scared to go in and see the doctor. I cannot imagine going anywhere else. Dr. Gilcher has helped me with my sinuses and I can walk better without lower back pain. No, I cannot imagine going anywhere else. I feel great each time I leave his office. Thank You Doc."

  • "I have two bad knees, carpal tunnel in both hands, and arthritis. I suffer with allergies and high blood pressure. I had pain in my whole body. I didn't think he could help me. After the first treatment I felt better and continued to feel better after each adjustment. I sleep good, my blood pressure is the best it has ever been. I can use my hands, my knees feel better and hardly any pain in my back, shoulders, and neck. Dr. Gilcher has explained more to me about my health then any other doctor I have been to. No more pain pills. I feel GREAT! Thank you. I would recommend chiropractic and emphasize to you don't wait until you are 67 to have your body checked out by a chiropractic doctor, because your health is very important."

  • "I could hear my neck popping and cracking. I had a stabbing pain in my right shoulder that was going down my right arm to the wrist. I had muscle spasms and a persistent pain in my right shoulder that wouldn't go away. After the first adjustment I had some relief. Now I feel great, the best I've felt in three years. With the problem I was having, I couldn't do alot of things because I was in pain all the time. Last week I trimmed eight bushes, cut the front lawn, pulled weeds. I would have never thought about doing this before chiropractic treatment. I just wanted to say many thanks to you Dr. Gilcher for "listening" and being there for me and all the extra effort you put into your practice. I would recommend chiropractic care and don't wait as long as I did and use it as your last resort. Make it your first resort."

Our shoulder joints have the greatest range of motion of any of the musculoskeletal joints in our bodies. The glenohumeral joint is a ball-and-socket joint and the acromioclavicular joint is a gliding joint. ...

  • An Apple a Day . . .

What is so good about an apple? Is it the color, ranging from ruby red to pale pink? Is it the crunch? The sweetness? Or is it, instead, a combination of all of these qualities, plus the natural goodness derived from the apple's secret ingredients — phytonutrients? If this were a multiple choice quiz, the answer would be "all of the above". Importantly, in addition to possessing numerous appealing physical qualities, apples contain an abundance of health-promoting biochemicals known as phytonutrients.1,2 These specific organic molecules are derived not only from apples but many other fresh fruits and vegetables, and help power the immune system, protect against cancer, maintain healthy eyes, and assist cells in clearing out metabolic waste products such as free radicals. ...
